Well the Weather was wet and cold but still approx 150 riders came to make their respects.  The new ride along the parkway was beautiful in the rain and even a number of Gophers stood at attension along the route watching us pass by.

Thank you to our VIP's for coming out in the pouring rain.  MP Dave Sweet, Chair of the Veterans Affairs Committee, LCol Gorden Hales representing the Canadian  Forces, Mr John Oliver representing Veterans Affairs,Mrs Grete Hale and Roger Bolt representing Beechwood,  Sen  Reta Gordon  representing the Metis of  Ontario, Mr Pierre Lalonde representing the Royal Canadian Legion, Kurt Stodley from A Channel our MC, Pardre Rick +, and Miss Carly Henry and Dakota representing the Youth of Canada.

A very special thank you to CWO Bradley, the Flag Sentries, and the Piper and Bugler for playing their part in the Ceremony which was again very moving.  Also we want to thank the Ottawa Police Services and the Military Police for their help in escorting and making the ride safe in the worse possible weather conditions.

Also thank you for your service MCpl Chris Downey, pictured center of Right picture, wounded and newly returned from Afganistan
